OCCTAC and West Anaheim Medical Center Launch Collaborative Community Health Project

Building a Healthier Future

We are thrilled to announce the launch of OCCTAC's inaugural Community Health Outreach Project, in partnership with West Anaheim Medical Center (WAMC). This groundbreaking collaboration aims to address healthcare disparities and promote wellness within our community. Under the supervision of Dr. Anooshiravan Hami, Clinical Faculty at WAMC, the project seeks to build strong neighborhood associations while providing essential health resources to the underserved population.




 

Meet OCCTAC's New Board of Director: John Saleman

Alex Mateo Painting

John Saleman, Audit Partner at WithumSmith+Brown, brings 25 years of expertise in financial statement audits for manufacturers, distributors, and professional services entities. A Certified Public Accountant, he's dedicated to community service, previously volunteering as an AYSO referee. John, along with his wife, a high school special education teacher, resides in Huntington Beach with their son, where they cherish family time, outings to the dog beach, and football matches. He seeks to join OCCTAC’s board to give back to his community and invest in the well-being of children, driven by personal experiences and a shared passion with his wife.

Driving Entrepreneurship and Economic Mobility

OCCTAC proudly partners with the NorthSTAR OC Collaborative to empower underserved communities in Orange County through entrepreneurship. Founded in 2022, NorthSTAR offers essential resources and support to aspiring entrepreneurs, striving to dismantle barriers and promote economic upward mobility. As part of our collaboration, OCCTAC will host monthly gatherings and workshops, providing a platform for innovative ideas to flourish.
