Youth Employment Program (YEP)

At OCCTAC, we believe in empowering the future generation to achieve their dreams. Introducing the Youth Employment Program (YEP)—a transformative initiative in partnership with the City of Santa Ana's Workforce Development program.

 
Empowering Youth for Success

YEP is dedicated to serving Transitional Age Youth (16 – 24 years old) by providing them with a comprehensive array of opportunities and resources. From educational skills and job training to work experience and career counseling, YEP equips young individuals with the tools they need to thrive in the fields of Arts, Education & Technology. 
 

Who We Prioritize
YEP is committed to uplifting specific groups of youth who often face unique challenges. We prioritize: 

  • Foster Youth 

  • Homeless Youth 

  • Parenting Teens 

  • Students with Special Needs 

  • Youth who have dropped out of school 

 

Our Services, Their Success
All participants in the YEP program can expect to benefit from a wide range of valuable services, including: 

  • Academic & Career Counseling 

  • Adult Mentoring 

  • Case Management 

  • Leadership Development 

  • Literacy & Math Tutoring 

  • Paid Work Experience/Training

Flexible Schedule for Individual Needs 
Activities within the YEP program are designed to cater to the specific needs and interests of each participant. We understand that every journey is unique, and our program structure reflects that understanding.

Requirements to Join
All necessary documents proving the requirements below must be presented during the interview process: 

  • Age between 16 & 24 years old 

  • Eligibility to work in the United States 

  • Santa Ana resident (exceptions may be considered based on need) 

  • Current TB Test
