A Special Visit from Clara Woods
We were honored to welcome artist and inclusion advocate Clara Woods to OCCTAC.
Born after a stroke in her mother’s womb that left her unable to speak, read, or write, Clara now communicates through vibrant artwork that reflects resilience and determination. By age 12, she held her first exhibition in Florence, Italy, and today her work has been featured in over 30 exhibitions worldwide.
Clara continues to champion the message that differences are strengths. Her visit reminded us that representation matters, creativity empowers, and every individual holds extraordinary potential, values that lie at the heart of OCCTAC’s mission.
EISOA Valentine’s Celebration
Our Early Intervention Services for Older Adults (EISOA) participants celebrated Valentine’s Day with a beautiful Valentine Diamond Art project, creating sparkling heart designs while enjoying connection and community.
EISOA supports Orange County residents ages 60+ through creative engagement and social connection. With government funding coming to an end, this vital program is now at risk.
Please consider supporting EISOA to help us continue providing a space where older adults can connect, create, and belong.
