In December 2021, OCCTAC was a recipient of a First District Arts-Related Non-Profit COVID19 Grant for $50,000. This grant was established to provide economic support to county-based arts-related nonprofits that were negatively impacted by COVID19. We are very grateful to Supervisor Andrew Do for supporting our mission and for recognizing the valuable and necessary contributions that the Arts make to our community. Thank you Supervisor Do!

Thank You Blick Arts of Fullerton!

OCCTAC was very honored to have been selected for the fourth year in a row as Blick Arts of Fullerton’s charitable partner for their annual “Give & Get” holiday campaign. The campaign is a project in collaboration with their national nonprofit partner, The Dreaming Zebra Foundation. Customers donated art supplies to OCCTAC when shopping over the holidays in return for a future 20% off coupon. As you can see from the photos, the donations were amazing! Thank you so much for the selfless giving and generosity of our valuable Blick partner and their art community. Your generosity affords us the ability to continue to serve our community and provide the uplifting and rewarding art instruction that helps our students balance their social/emotional well-being. Mil gracias, Blick Arts & The Dreaming Zebra Foundation!

Once again Orange County Children’s Therapeutic Arts Center partnered with the Segerstrom Center to culminate the Holiday Season with their annual Dia de los Reyes Celebration at the Segerstrom Center on January 8, 2022. Segerstrom’s Community Engagement Manager, Emily Neely, and Director for Community Engagement Marytza Rubio successfully arranged for families of the local OC area to safely engage and enjoy art, food, and dance, with cultural music provided by El Santo Golpe. The turnout was quite impressive, as we safely practiced social distancing. The children were treated with free art workshops provided by OCCTAC’s Gianmarco Otiniano and Alexis Lopez and families got a chance to win raffled Rosca, a season-ending treat!
