OCCTAC Students Celebrate Dia de los Reyes
On Sunday, January 5, OCCTAC students and families celebrated Dia de los Reyes at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa. Globally, the Christmas season makes its finale with the Dia De Los Reyes event which celebrates the arrival of the Three Kings bearing gifts for the baby Jesus. OCCTAC partnered with the Segerstrom Center for the Arts and provided Art workshops and student performances. Segerstom provided families Rosca de Reyes (celebratory pastry), a Children’s toy giveaway, the 3 Kings and more!. This year’s event garnered a large gathering where families enjoyed a fun filled day of giving, culminating the Christmas holiday, and ushering in the New Year.
The 3 Kings Day celebrations continued during the month of January at OCCTAC. Our families and students with special needs were invited to receive gifts to celebrate the 3 Kings. The parent leaders organized a potluck and we all celebrated with joy! We thank our kind and generous friends Sofia Negron and ZIDC (Zumba in Da Club) instructors who donated these toys to our special needs students!
Thank you Union Bank!

We are extremely grateful to Union Bank and Rossina Gallegos for their continuous support of our mission and programs for youth with special needs in Orange County.
