#GivingTuesday is a global giving movement that has been built by individuals, families, organizations, businesses and communities in countries around the world. Millions of people have come together to support and champion the causes they believe in and the communities in which they live.
#GivingTuesday isn’t just about fundraising, it’s about communities banding together and giving of their time, power, skills, expertise and resources. It's about the collective spirit of generosity that brings change to our communities.
OCCTAC IS JOINING THE GLOBAL
GIVING TUESDAY 2020 CAMPAIGN!
On the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Dec. 1, people around the world will come together to celebrate generosity and make an impact with #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving during the holidays. This year for Giving Tuesday, we want to raise $25,000 to help provide OCCTAC students and families with the arts education and services they deserve. With your help, we can make this a reality!
Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage giving and to celebrate generosity worldwide. Every year on Giving Tuesday, millions of people across the globe (almost 60 countries) mobilize to show up, give back, and change their communities. The goal is to create a massive wave of generosity that lasts well beyond that day and touches every person on the planet.

OCCTAC joined the Giving Tuesday movement in 2018, raising over $9,000 in one day for its programs that provide arts education and vital community services in Orange County. Last year, our fabulous supporters raised $20,000 for Giving Tuesday! This year, OCCTAC has a goal of raising $25,000 to help provide OCCTAC students and families with the arts education and social services they deserve.
“OCCTAC is excited to participate in a day that focuses on generosity. All of the money raised during this Giving Tuesday ‘20 campaign will go directly toward providing artistic programs and community services that empower and transform vulnerable children, youth and families in our community”, said Dr. Ana Jimenez-Hami, Executive Director and founder of OCCTAC.
