NBC: Dr. Ana Jimenez-Hami Highlighted in NBC Latino’s ‘Latina Leaders’

In 2000, she founded the Orange County Children’s Therapeutic Arts Center, a community-based organization in Santa Ana, Calif. dedicated to empowering at-risk youth and children with disabilities through arts, literacy and therapeutic programs, which are free or low-cost. OCCTAC Hosts Conference for Young Latinas and Their Mothers (OC Register)

The Santa Ana-based Orange County Children’s Therapeutic ARTS Center on June 8 hosted De Mujer a Mujercita, an annual event co-sponsored by the National Conference of Puerto Rican Women of Southern Califonia for Latina teens and their mothers. This year was NACOPRW-SoCal’s 10th annual mentorship event; students from OCCTAC attended, and played live music for the guests. READ MORE…
